First Methodist Church and its community partners for many years have sought to feed the children of our community on the weekends. We do this through a program called Backpack Buddies. Each week students that are in need of the assistance receive a bag of food to help them through the weekend. This project is funded by donations from the community. If you would like to make a donation you may send your check or gift to First Methodist Church of give online through our online giving link and click the fund "Backpack Buddies." You may also bring in items that go into the  bags.
